Abstract: Based on the investigation of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the paper discuss four aspects of it: first, the morphology of the outside; second, the interior composition; third, the daylighting design; last, the upper space on the central hall. The aim of the analysis is to understand the design method, the process of Mario Botta, and his inherition of the classic language of Modern Architecture.

摘要： 本文结合作者的现场调查，从城市设计和建筑设计的角度论述了位于旧金山市中心的现代艺术博物馆，重点分析了现代艺术博物馆的外部形态，内部空间组织，展厅的采光设计和中厅上部的趣味空间，可以方便我们理解博塔的设计手法和他对经典性建筑语言的传承。
