Abstract: The article summarized Prof. Thomas Schmid’s contribution to architectural design teach-ing pedagogy for HUST, reviewed the process of teaching and practicing as the assistant of Thomas Schmid in Wuhan and studied some problems about architectural design methodology.

摘要： 文章总结了德国慕尼黑工业大学教授托马斯·施密特（Thomas Schmid）对华中科技大学设计课教学体系的贡献，回顾了作者作为其助手在中国及德国参与其设计教学及设计实践的收获，梳理了关于建筑设计教学若干问题的思考。
