Abstract: American Historical Trails are an important component of American linear recreation space. They are also a symbol of American history and culture. After a long period of exploration and practice, the Historical Trails signage system has formed a relatively perfect system. As a valuable linear historical and cultural heritage, South China Historical Trails are important carriers of Guangdong culture and a path for cultural exchange. In this study, the characteristics of the signage system in American Historical Trails in spatial layout and design expression were generalized, and the similarities and differences in signage systems between the American Historical Trails and the South China Historical Trails identified. Combined with the actual situation in the design and implementation process of the South China Historical Trails signage system, we summarized ways and methods for improving and upgrading the signage system of South China Historical Trails in the future.

摘要： 美国历史游径是美国线性游憩空间的重要组成部分，也是美国历史文化的象征之一，其标识系统的布局和设计，经过长期的探索，积累了丰富的实践经验。中国南粤古驿道作为宝贵的线性历史文化遗产，是岭南文化的重要载体和文化交流的纽带，在标识系统的布局和表达方式上，与美国历史游径有诸多相似之处，通过总结美国历史游径标识在空间布局和设计表达上的特点，梳理美国历史游径标识系统与南粤古驿道标识之间的异同，并结合南粤古驿道标识系统设计和实施过程中的实际情况，可以归纳未来南粤古驿道标识系统改进和提升的方式方法，有效提升南粤古驿道标识系统的设计水平和使用效果。
