Abstract: The paper elaborated the techniques of rehabilitation of ancient architecture in Taiwan, and highly evaluated the rigorous research attitude of Taiwan specialists, base on their practical studies of well-known rehabilitated traditional dwellings and temples in Taiwan, and the study of the Research Center of Ancient Architecture in China University of Technology (Taiwan). Contrasted with the indelicate way of recent conservation and rehabilitation of ancient architecture in Mainland China, the paper emphasized that the detailed way played a leading role in the successful rehabilitation of ancient architecture.
