Abstract: Abstract With the development of digital technology and the rise of the intelligent industry, people are gradually entering the era of digital intelligence. Cutting-edge technology is gradually hidden in the invisible and woven into our lives, just like the concept of " Ubiquitous Computing" proposed by Mark Weiser. Meanwhile, it is increasingly difficult for traditional architectural spaces to keep up with the ever-changing spatial needs of modern people. How to transform architectural space into a living entity that can think and actively respond to people's behaviors and psychological needs has received much popularity in current research on digital architectural design. As a result, "interaction" has become one of the keywords for the future development of intelligent architecture. In order to further clarify and establish the theoretical foundations for Interactive Architecture and Human-Architecture Interaction design, the Future Lab of Tsinghua University and the Institute of Future Human Habitat at Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School organized an international conference on "Architecture x Interaction: Towards an Intelligent Future" on 29 April 2022. The goal of this conference was to explore potential interdisciplinary research in future architecture design. Experts and scholars in Interactive Architecture and Human-Architecture Interaction design from different countries took part in this academic discussion. Within the perspective of theory establishment for unifying architecture and interaction, Prof. Xu Weiguo proposed that the study of interactive architecture should break through the traditional "human-architecture-environment" theory of Genius Loci, and integrate robots into the context of interactive architecture design from the perspective of intelligent architecture, to build a new "robot-human-architecture-environment" theory. Prof. Tang Keyang discussed the historical development and the changes in the concept of "movement", which is unique to interactive architecture, in the development of the architectural design. He also pointed out potential ways of thinking about design and the paradigm contexts for human-architecture interaction from a methodological perspective. With the design practice of interactive architecture, Prof. Philip Beesley claimed that interactive architecture should against platonic architecture. He explained his concept and design philosophy with an interactive installation project Grove, demonstrating a new type of future architectural space that is organic, natural, resilient, climate healing, and simulating communication and interaction beyond the design of traditional architectural spaces. Prof. Michael Fox proposed that the development of interactive architecture should follow in the footsteps of robotics. He demonstrated how different systems such as modular robotics, micro and nano-scale robotics, and soft robotics, as well as key technologies such as user control and augmenting biomimetics, could impact the design of interactive architecture through a series of student projects. In terms of identifying and clarifying concepts and discipline development related to architecture and interaction, Prof. Henri Achten clarified and distinguished between concepts such as interactive architecture, responsive architecture, and architectural intelligence and discussed the differences between the logic of designing interactive architecture and traditional architecture. Prof. Achten also introduced new terms that have emerged from interactive architecture. Dr. Ruairi Glynn addressed the importance of teaching architecture from an interdisciplinary perspective by introducing the Performance and Interaction Design course at the Bartlett School of Architecture in University College London. He described the possible facility environment and course content needed to establish an interdisciplinary system that combines creativity and technology. Using related cases, Dr.Li Li established the conceptual terms of interactive architecture and interactive architectural design and discussed the prospective development and scenarios of the application of interactive technology from the perspectives of both architectural design and architectural environment. Dr. Liu Jie introduced the conceptual evolution of Human-Architecture Interaction Design, suggesting that in addition to the application of technologies, future Human-Architecture Interaction Design also needs to consider the essence of architecture and how to further improve the IQ and EQ of architecture through the systematic and emotional design of space and information.

摘要: 随着数字技术的发展和智能产业的崛起,从人工智能到自然交互,从物联网到元宇宙,人们逐渐进入了数智时代。正如马克·维濏所提出的“普适计算”概念一样,前沿的科技正逐渐隐匿于无形之间,编织进我们的生活之中。同时,我们也已经发现传统的单一维度静态建筑空间越来越难满足人们不断催生和变迁的空间需求。随着体验经济的发展和智能场景的渗透,建筑及人居环境的未来需要进一步的革新和升级。如何让空间更为主动、体贴地响应人们的行为和心理需求,如何让空间变成可以思考、可以交流的生命体,如何营造新颖的、动态的、诗意的空间体验等成为当前数字建筑设计研究的前沿热点问题。在这一背景下,“交互”成为了未来智能化建筑发展的关键词之一。为了可以进一步厘清交互建筑和人屋交互设计的理论背景及内容边界,科学地探讨未来建筑设计与交互设计结合的可能方向,理性地构建未来建筑学发展的新学科交叉点,清华大学未来实验室与清华大学深圳国际研究生院未来人居研究院携手于2022年4月29日共同举办“建筑 x 交互:迈向智能未来”2022人屋交互设计国际会议,并邀请了全球范围内致力于交互建筑及人屋交互设计研究的一众专家学者就相关概念和问题笔谈。在建筑与交互结合的基础理论构建方面,徐卫国提出对于互动建筑的研究要需要突破传统的“人—建筑—环境”三位一体的场所理论背景,从智能建筑的角度出发,将机器人加入互动建筑设计的语境之中,构建形成“机器人—人—建筑—环境”相互积极互动的四位一体的新场所理论;唐克扬针对交互建筑所特有的“动”的概念,阐述了建筑设计发展过程中“动”的历史发展和内容变迁,并从方法论的角度探讨了人屋交互的可能设计思维方法和范式语境。在交互建筑设计探索方面,菲利普·比斯利通过详细介绍Grove交互装置的设计理念和设计思路,直观且清晰地阐述了一种有机的、自然的、柔性的、气候友好的、超越传统建筑空间的、促进交流和互动的未来新型建筑空间设计的可能形式语言和构成逻辑;迈克尔·福克斯提出交互建筑的发展跟随机器人的发展路径,并通过相应的案例具体阐述了模块化机器人系统、微型机器人系统以及软体仿生机器人系统对于交互建筑设计的影响,以及利用诸如手势控制、生物拟态等关键技术所催化构成的交互建筑设计;在建筑与交互相关概念的梳理和学科建设方面,亨利·埃克斯对交互式建筑、响应式建筑、建筑智能等类似概念进行了明晰和区别,并通过相应的设计范例具体分析讨论了交互式建筑的交互内容、设计逻辑与传统建筑设计的差别,同时催生出建筑学由此而产生的新的名词和术语;鲁伊里·格林主要探讨了构建交互建筑这一交叉学科体系的必要性,并以伦敦大学学院巴特莱特建筑学院的表演与交互设计课程作为典型案例,介绍了构建创意与技术相结合的交叉学科体系课程所需要的可能设施环境和课程内容;李力对互动建筑和交互式建筑设计的概念术语进行了辨析,并借助相关设计案例和研究成果从建筑设计过程及建成环境两个角度探讨了互动技术应用的场景和发展前景;刘洁介绍了人屋交互设计的概念变迁和发展脉络,提出未来的人屋交互设计研究除了思考技术的应用之外,还需要从建筑的本质出发进一步思考如何通过对空间和信息的系统化设计和情感化设计来提高建筑的智商和情商。
