Abstract: Since the reform and opening, the development of small towns in Zhongshan has formed its own unique style, distinctive features. Under the background of the new-type urbanization, the exploration and practice of Zhongshan has stepped out a road of man-made core and urban and rural urbanization, and has been the fetters of some problems in the development. This paper through analysis of the exploration and practice of small town, Zhongshan City, to expect for a comprehensive understanding of the characteristics of small towns development in Zhongshan City, experiences and problems, and in order to further promote the development and construction of small town of China for reference and inspiration.

摘要： 改革开放以来，中山市小城镇的发展形成了自己独有的风格，特色鲜明。在新型城镇化背景下，中山市探索并实践走出了一条以人为核心、统筹城乡的城镇化道路，同时在发展中也受到了一些问题的羁绊。文章通过中山市小城镇探索与实践的分析，以期望为全面认识中山市小城镇发展的特征、经验和问题，并为国内的小城镇的发展建设提供借鉴和启示。
