Abstract: A Historic environment is usually rather complicated. The urban design should respect the public interest moderately and understand the synchronicity of the urban space correctly, avoid the strategy of unified regeneration, to protect the social spatial structure, maintain the vitality of the traditional spaces, and integrate the local cultural traditions for a comprehensive conservation.
