时空整合视角下水路文化遗产保护策略研究——以广州为例

Research on the Protection Strategy for the Cultural Heritage of Waterways from the Perspective of Spatiotemporal Integration: A Case Study Based on Guangzhou City

摘要: 水网体系和水路交通在国内外城镇发展演变中扮演着重要角色。广州水路文化遗产包括自然水系、港口码头、海关、商行、江海防等,既是2000 多年城镇发展时空演变见证,还承载了有形和无形的城市记忆。水路交通是重要的线性文化遗产,但由于“水”的特殊性,并不能像其它陆地文化遗产容易被发现和保护传承。基于时空整合的视角,分别从广州市域尺度和历史城区尺度对广州“城- 水”演进、价值特色及要素等进行系统梳理,研究认为:广州水路文化遗产是线性文化遗产的重要组成部分,需要构建遗产阐释的整体性保护体系;通过水路文化遗产要素的有机串联,建构关联性保护机制;注重强化特色流域的主题,因地制宜提升水路文化遗产的在地性保护;通过“连点成线+ 点线成网”模式,逐步实现水路文化遗产与城市的动态可持续耦合发展。

Abstract: The water network system and waterway transportation play an important role in urban development globally. The cultural heritage of waterway transportation in Guangzhou covers natural water systems, ports and docks, customs markets, coastal defense, and river defense. These have not only witnessed the evolution of urban development in Guangzhou for thousands of years, but also carry various urban memories, which are important to cultural heritage. "Water" cannot be easily discovered and protected like other terrestrial cultural heritage sites due to its special nature. This study systematically reviewed the space-time evolution of "urban-water" and its value characteristics and elements in Guangzhou on the current urban scale and the historical scale. The study concludes that the cultural heritage of waterways in Guangzhou is an important component of the linear cultural heritage of the region and it is necessary to establish an integral protection system that can protect this heritage. Moreover, an associated protection mechanism based on the role of waterway cultural heritage elements should be established. Attention should be paid to strengthening of the characteristic river basins and improvement of on-site protection of the cultural heritage of waterways according to the local conditions. It is suggested that the dynamic sustainable coupling development between the cultural heritage of waterways and urban areas can gradually be achieved through "connecting points into lines + connecting lines into a network".
