Abstract: New-type Urbanization puts forward new thought to urban construction, which is how to guarantee urban quality. New-type Urbanization needs to reflect humanistic concerns, local culture and natural harmony. The key to achieve these goals is to improve the quality of the urban environment. Urban design as an effective method, can play an important role in the new urbanization process. This article emphasizes the idea that unlike the previous practice that urban design takes a target-oriented form, urban design needs to be more comprehensive to achieve multi-dimensional, multi-standard and multi-objective urban quality.

摘要： 新型城镇化向城镇建设提出了一个新的问题，那就是在这样一个过程中，如何保证城镇建设的品质能够得到持续、稳定的提升。新型城镇化需要体现人性关怀、文化回归和自然和谐，只有这样才能表现出它的高品质，而实现这些目标的关键就在于提高城镇的建设水平。城市设计作为一种有效的方法和手段，完全可以在实现新型城镇化的过程中发挥重要的作用。文章认为与以往城市设计完成目标有所不同的是，面对新型城镇化，城市设计将更多的讲求综合性，以完成多层面、多准则、多目标的城镇建设工作，并提出了其中较为重要的三个方面。
