Abstract: This paper provides a general introduction to UNESCO Asia—Pacific Awards in terms of it’s purposes and typologies. It goes on to introduce the Awards of Excellence from 2000 to 2012, with a table summarizing all the China’s projects won the Awards. It also discusses the Team of Architectural History and Heritage Protection in the School of Architecture, SCUT, about it’s academic position in China from two projects of Baojiatun Watermill and Guang Yu Ancestral Hall, which won the Awards of Excellence.

摘要： 本文综述联合国教科文组织亚太文化遗产保护奖设立的目的、类型，分析了2000~2012年度该奖卓越奖获奖情况，综览中国获奖项目，并从华南理工大学亚热带建筑科学国家重点实验室建筑历史与遗产保护团队的鲍家屯水碾房和广裕祠项目获联合国教科文组织亚太文化遗产保护奖卓越奖的事实，论述该团队在全国的学术地位。
